What is the best time to visit New York? Apparently, any time is good. Although the weather can change dramatically within hours in Gotham City, in the last couple of days the sun is shining stronger than ever.
New York City is often described as the capital of the world. No matter if it’s winter or summer, rain or sun, there is always something to do here. But who would think that you can take a boat ride around Manhattan in November without freezing to death? Even though we all love warmer days, we cannot ignore global warming anymore. If climate change goes unchecked, NYC could be severely hit by the floods by the end of the century. The change could be unnoticed and irregular in the beginning. The more extensive storms, high tides, more floods especially, in the areas that have never experienced them before – people will have to use a boat to get to work or at least wear rain boots day to day. The carbon levels in the atmosphere guarantee inevitable disaster, so we should all mobilize around climate change while enjoying this beautiful weather.
